North West Premier Bushy Maape was on Friday forced to apologise when he was accosted by activists, and prevented from speaking on stage at a World TB Day event in Rustenburg.
Treatment Action Campaign activists, who advocate for HIV and TB, ran onto the stage at the Tlhabane Stadium, saying Maape had abandoned a meeting with them on Thursday.
They insisted that the premier, who claimed his province had no pothole problems, apologise or he wouldn't be allowed to speak.
