'We must dissociate from those that are corrupt': ANC conference resolves to keep step-aside rule

With the 2024 national elections looming, the ANC's 55th national conference has resolved to reaffirm the step-aside resolution of its 54th national conference in an attempt to regain public trust.

This is according to Fasiha Hassan, chairperson of the ANC subcommittee on organisational renewal.

Hassan announced the resolutions the party's renewal committee had taken at around midnight on Thursday at Imvelo Safari Lodge, outside Bloemfontein, where the party is wrapping up its 55th national conference.
