KwaZulu-Natal is recording new Covid-19 cases per day at a higher rate than any other province, as the national average of daily new cases continues to show a significant decrease.

The shifting trend is in keeping with predictive models which estimated that South Africa’s provinces will experience surges in coronavirus cases at different times.
