SA's deadliest Covid-19 hospitals - 7 out of 10 worst performing facilities in the Eastern Cape

As the Eastern Cape faces a resurgence of coronavirus cases and hospitalisations, analysis of hospital admissions data shows four of the five worst performing hospitals in terms of Covid-19 deaths are public health facilities in the same province.

News24 conducted a preliminary analysis of hospital admissions data for 100 hospitals which have admitted more than 50 patients since the outbreak began in March this year.
