Top cop suspension: Ramaphosa still sitting on recommendation, 111 days after putting Sitole on terms

Top cop Khehla Sitole remains in his post, four months after his looming suspension was announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa, who – 111 days later – is still giving the matter "his attention". 

Sitole and his top lieutenants have been under a pall of controversy after a damning court judgment, which found that they intentionally obstructed investigations into a string of allegedly corrupt procurement splurges by the Crime Intelligence Division.
