Well wishes for Class of 2018

accreditation

The fourth school term is one of the most important periods for schools, teachers and learners, says provincial education minister Debbie Schäfer.

While final preparations for the 2019 academic year is underway, several examinations and assessments are also conducted.

A total of 53 764 full-time candidates started with the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations on Monday (15 October).

Learners are also currently busy with systemic assessment tests in language and mathematics, which will be completed on Wednesday 24 October.

Internal examinations for Grades 4 to 11 will also begin next month, while the provincial teacher awards will be held as well.

Schäfer wished all learners and teachers, particularly the matriculants, well as they prepare for their examinations and assessments.
