This year’s Alfred Dunhill Championship at the Leopard Creek Country Club in Mpumalanga will have its own “Big Five” in former champions.
This tournament, co-sanctioned by the prestigious Sunshine Tour and European Tour, is scheduled to take place from 26 to 29 November.
Defending champion, Pablo Larrazábal from Spain, returns following his 2019 victory.
He will be joined by 2016 champion, Brandon Stone, who won the title in what was to be a breakout season for him.
Richard Sterne returns as the 2008 champion.
Álvaro Quirós, the third Spaniard to have won this title alongside Larrazábal and Pablo Martín, is back as the 2006 winner.
Also returning is Germany’s Marcel Siem, 2004 winner.
This year’s Alfred Dunhill Championship boasts the biggest purse on the Sunshine Tour of R29 million.
It anchors a strong run of three European Tour co-sanctioned tournaments in South Africa, also including the Joburg Open and the South African Open.
