As part of National Arbor Day on April 29, the Jeffreys Bay Dorp van Drome organisation planted a total of 18 trees at the Jeffreys Bay Golf Club.
Eben Gerber, a local farmer, donated 10 macadamia nut trees, while donations of trees were also received from Jessica Naude, Lynette van den Berg, Lorraine de Wit Scholtz, Anita Swanepoel, Elsie Grobler, Jan van Dyk, Barbara van Vuuren, André van Vuuren and Eve Hemming.
In addition, there were people who dropped off their trees at the Dorp van Drome trailer in Noorsekloof Road. Furthermore, Kouga Environmental and Waste Management manager, Christa Venter, arranged for the digging of the holes and the compost.
