‘Attacks overwhelm traditional leaders’

Family feuds and land disputes are some of the reasons for the murder of izinduna (headmen) and amakhosi (chiefs) in KwaZulu-Natal.

This is according to KwaZulu-Natal Deaprtment of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) MEC Sipho Hlomuka.

Hlomuka held a meeting with traditional leaders at KwaDukuza town hall last Tuesday.
