This is after Msunduzi Municipality disconnected their electricity because they are owing a lot of money to the municipality.

Sobantu High School and Russell Junior Primary are said to be owing just over R1 million, while Khwezi Public Primary owes just over R600 000. Khwezi and Russell Primary were disconnected during the first term this year and Sobantu High was disconnected during the second term.
