An inquest has been opened after a 40-year-old woman and a three-year old girl were found dead at their home in KwaMnyandu, Ward 5.

Ncamisile Mzolo’s body and Fanelesbonge Ngcobo’s body were found on Sunday by a community member who had come to visit Mzolo.

Plessislaer police spokesperson Sergeant Sfiso Gwala said Mzolo was last seen alive on Saturday afternoon when she was drinking with her three friends at her house.
