The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Kariega is seeking the community’s assistance in finding 14-year-old Rochelle Prins.
The teenage girl was reported missing on Friday, October 8 from a house in Lower Drostdy Street in Kariega.
According to police information, Prins and her 16-year-old sister who live with their father had been visiting their mother in Kariega for the school holidays.
“The girls who reside in Gqeberha were dropped off at their mother’s place on Sunday, October 3. On Thursday, October 7 in the evening the family retired to bed. On Friday morning, October 8, the mother discovered that Rochelle was missing. Her bag with clothes was also missing. A letter was left for her father,” police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu said.
It is not known what she was wearing at the time she left the house.
