- Logistics (17:00 on October 21)
Experts from around the country have been selected as panelists for these webinars.
Schools are also encouraged to motivate their learners to participate in the webinars and during the live webinars the name of one of the attendees will be drawn in a lucky draw.
This learner’s school will receive advertising space in the Port Elizabeth Express, UD Express or Komani-Karoo Express to the value of R6 000.
On the panel for this week’s webinar is Prof. Jean Greyling who is Head of the Department of Computing Sciences at Nelson Mandela University.

So what do artificial intelligence and a media company have in common you may ask?
We will give you the answer throughout this webinar.
Learners will also find out that artificial intelligence is not only something you will find in manufacturing, telecommunication, banking and other high tech companies, but it affects every operation and institution which is part of the future and the 4th industrial revolution.
To tell us more about their learnings from the future skills programme we have three Media24 employees on the panel who work in the field of computer science, as well as data engineering and science.
They are Monica Mayeka, who is a data engineer at Media24 and who has more than 10 years of experience across multiple industries including retail, telecommunications, as well as financial services and presently in the media industry.
Also on the panel is Kevin Prior who is a software developer at Media24, as well as Alex Jacobs who is a data scientist.
