The greatest gift you can give this month of love, is a loving home to an adopted furry friend!

And Supa Quick is helping to spread that love with their Adopt-a-pet campaign.

They are asking people who are looking for a new pet to join the family, or just looking for a furry friend to keep them company, to rather adopt - not shop! And to make this easier for the people looking to share love with a furry friend, Supa Quick will cover the adoption fee of up to R1 000 when you adopt a pet from any registered adoption agency in South Africa.

"What’s more, to say thank you for your kindness, for every pet you adopt, you’ll receive a Supa Quick pet hamper filled with goodies for your new family member," Supa Quick said in a statement.

Adopt a new best friend

Did you know that animal shelter cats and dogs are healthier than purebreds because they tend to have less inherited genetic health problems? Plus when you adopt from a shelter you are saving two lives – when you take home a pet you help by opening up a space for another animal.

By adopting, not only will you save a life but also save on costs. Vaccinations, microchipping, sterilisation and deworming are all part of the adoption fee, which will be covered by Supa Quick.

How to get started

Visit any registered adoption agency in South Africa and you could make a difference by helping save hundreds of shelter and rescue cats and dogs. Now go forth and find your furry friend today!

To qualify, WhatsApp proof of your adoption and a picture of you and your new cat or dog to 071 042 3005.

  • The campaign is valid for the first one hundred participants. Terms and conditions apply.
  • The campaign runs until 28 February.
