THIS year’s sixth annual Scottburgh Classic Car Show will be held on Sunday 19 July at Scottburgh High. The objective of the show is to enjoy a day with the family indulging in the nostalgia of old cars and motorbikes while raising money for local charities.

All pre-1975 classic cars and motorcycles are welcome and there will also be a few super-cars on display. Exhibitors and visitors come from every province and over 5 000 people and 450 classic vehicles are expected. There will be a large variety of food available plus a shaded tea garden offering cakes and sandwiches.

All classic vehicles will drive around the show field perimeter for everyone to admire. R1 000 in cash will be up for grabs for the two best dressed couples in the period of their classic automobile and who enter in the Concours d’Élegance parade. There will be many other spot prizes for visitors who dress up for the occasion in clothes of the 1940s to 1970s.

The four beneficiaries of this year’s show can be viewed on our website www.scott burghclassiccarshow.co.za or phone Peter Fielding on 039 976 1995. - Supplied.
