Two alleged Western Cape serial killers both appeared in courts this week, with one's murder spree dating back to 2016 and the other to last year.

In the first case, Brian George Mudyiwayana, a Zimbabwean national, is accused of killing six people in the towns of Wolseley, Worcester, Swellendam and De Doorns.

Mudyiwayana, 32, was arrested in February 2019 after he was connected to the murder of Southern Cape teacher Lungelwa Dangatya.
