South Africa has reached 200 days of lockdown, marking a long road travelled from the country's first Covid-19 case on 5 March more than seven months ago.

"Patient zero", or rather South Africa's first confirmed case, was discovered in the quaint small town of Hilton in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands when a local doctor quickly realised the symptoms of her internationally travelled patient were Covid-19-related.
