A sorrowful football player is tormented by the dreadful deaths of his best friends who he convinced to go to Enyobeni Tavern over the weekend.
Mbasa Mpafi, 18, a striker for Gompo Football Club, had convinced his two friends who were part of a group of six soccer teammates to attend a special event at the tavern.
Mpafi's family said the teen blames himself for the deaths of the amateur division club goalkeeper Bongolethu Ncandana and midfielder Mbulelo Rangile.
