Alleged serial rapist winks at his wife in court, outside a woman recalls her horrific ordeal

An alleged Ekurhuleni serial rapist, pointed out by 19 rape complainants in an identity parade, winked at his wife and relatives in the public gallery when he appeared in a packed Daveyton Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

The accused, a 38-year-old part-time law student, cannot be named because he has not yet pleaded to the charges against him.

After his brief appearance in court, a 29-year-old woman told journalists about her horrific ordeal allegedly committed by the accused.
