ANC staffers who have battled to get outstanding salaries from the party have promised to explore legal action in the new year.

Threats of possible legal action from the aggrieved employees come as the governing party remained two months behind in paying salaries. On Tuesday, ANC staffers breathed a sigh of relief as outstanding payments for October were finally paid.

For months, the ANC has been facing a backlash from employees over the delayed payment of salaries. Mvusi Mdala, a representative of about 200 ANC staff members, confirmed that the ANC had paid salaries for October.
