The ANC's national executive committee (NEC) will only sink its teeth into the much-awaited guidelines of its step aside resolution for leaders charged with corruption in February.

The party is scheduled to start its two-day lekgotla on Friday, with an NEC meeting expected to deal with the contentious matter scheduled for the weekend of 13 February.
