The ANC's four-strong legal team, led by Wim Trengove SC, is set to argue party members are bound by its constitution, "for better or for worse".

Trengove's appearance is expected to wrap up the two-day hearing of the case brought by suspended ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule in a bid to have his suspension reversed.

Magashule, who in a light-hearted moment on Twitter on Thursday night, said: "I'm flying high and high like a butterfly and I'm about to sting like a bee," adding he wanted his "suspension" of President Cyril Ramaphosa to stand.
