ANC’s reign in Nelson Mandela Bay comes to chaotic end, leaving it with only two SA metros

The ANC now governs only two of the country’s major metros with an outright majority after it was brutally ousted by opposition parties in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro.

Even though the ruling party had the backing of the EFF, the so-called smaller parties in the NMB managed to scrape the necessary support together to show the ANC the exit door.

The ANC’s sinking in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro started at a council meeting on Wednesday.
