KwaZulu-Natal has once again been branded the assassination hub of South Africa, with an international report placing rampant violence due to ANC factional battles, organised crime, and taxi violence as central to political killings in the province.
This is according to the global law enforcement network organisation, the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime (GI-TOC).
In the 25th issue of the Risk Bulletin of Illicit Economies in East and Southern Africa released last week, the GI-TOC labelled KwaZulu-Natal as the home of assassinations.
