The Polokwane Magistrate's Court has rolled over the bail application of a murder-accused member of the VIP Protection Services.
Sergeant Mphela Kenneth Mokwena, 36, was expected to bring a formal bail application on Tuesday.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said the hearing was adjourned until Wednesday.
Mokwena allegedly shot and killed Moloto Kenneth Shongwe, 43, at a liquor outlet in Polokwane on 22 May.

"Shongwe was certified dead on the scene by medical emergency personnel. Mokwena was arrested on 23 May, after he handed himself over to the police at Polokwane police station," said Malabi-Dzhangi.
