"Awé, the big boss is looking sharp," wrote a Facebook friend of murder-accused Nafiz Modack on the wall of his social media page.
It was one of several messages the prosecutor, Adnaan Gelderbloem, said had been spotted when investigators trawled Modack's Facebook page in a bid to solidify the State's allegation that he was indeed the leading man in a criminal enterprise.
Gelderbloem noted that Modack wore a T-shirt, with the words "Boss" on it, and messages on his Facebook page refer to him as "a boss and a friend", "Mr Modack Boss", "Boss", and, in one post, he wrote, "I'm the Boss".
