Bulelani Qolani yet to see justice for naked tackle during shack demolition

The NPA has decided not to prosecute the charges levelled by Bulelani Qolani, who was tackled naked as his shack was demolished in Khayelitsha during lockdown, and nor will it prosecute him for charges laid against him, which include public indecency.

This emerged during a Western Cape High Court hearing into the legality of the City of Cape Town's action on 1 July 2020 when it said it was trying to get its land back during an alleged unlawful occupation.
