Despite little movement from promises made by President Cyril Ramaphosa in February that a National Anti-Corruption Advisory Council would be set up by mid-2021, calls for establishing a corruption-busting body continue to be made.
Ramaphosa made the promise during his State of the Nation Address earlier this year that members of the advisory council would be appointed this year.
The plan was to lead to the establishment of an anti-corruption body that would report to Parliament.
