'Embarrassed and dehumanised': Cape Town pub patron refused entry because he is black recounts humiliation

Beach lifesaver Thabiso Danca stood humiliated in Hank's Olde Irish pub in Cape Town's trendy Bree Street for about three minutes before he made his way home.  

He was denied entry by the bouncer because he wasn't accompanied by a white person.

"I think I am getting better and better after being embarrassed and dehumanised," Danca told News24 by phone on Monday.
