Lecturers from Community Education and Training (CET) colleges, formerly known as Adult Learning Centres, are not happy with the Department of Higher and Education and Training's changing their employment status and terms of employment.

The lecturers have petitioned the department expressing their concerns and demands around the transition of their employment statuses from contracts to permanent basis.
