A convicted rapist who was released on parole last year after only serving nine years of his 20-year sentence has been rearrested for allegedly repeatedly raping two sisters, aged 12 and 24, at their home.

The latest rape incident is alleged to have occurred at the siblings' house in Ganyesa, North West, two weeks ago. The man appeared in court on Wednesday.

North West police spokesperson Colonel Adéle Myburgh said allegations were that the man had raped the sisters multiple times on Friday, 24 September.
