Close to 3 000 rural communities in the Eastern Cape will have to travel more than 5km to reach a healthcare facility in order to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Across the country, 6 328 communities don't have a health facility, within a 5km radius, where Covid-19 vaccines are likely to be administered.
