DA leadership hopefuls Mbali Ntuli and John Steenhuisen are feverishly working to capture the support of DA members in their quest for the party's leadership, with exactly one month to go before the battle reaches a climax.

In separate appeals to delegates to the party's congress, Ntuli insisted that she cared about the DA, while Steenhuisen sent his own letter to delegates motivating for support for his policy positions.

On 31 October, Ntuli and Steenhuisen were scheduled go head-to-head at the party's first virtual elective congress.
