- Police have opened a murder case after a 33-year-old woman was found dead at a car crash scene in Standerton.
- But, the woman didn't die at the scene. It emerged that she had been killed hours earlier.
- It is claimed the woman's boyfriend, who allegedly stabbed her during an argument, was attempting to conceal her murder when he died in the car crash.
When police arrived at a horror crash scene on the R23 near Standerton, Mpumalanga, they found three bodies- but it would later emerge that only two of the deceased had died on the scene.
The third person, officers would later discover, died hours earlier and many kilometres away. How could this be?

According to police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, the investigation uncovered that two couples were having a party when one of the couples started arguing.
He said the "31-year-old boyfriend stabbed his 33-year-old girlfriend to death".
He and the other couple then allegedly hatched a plan to get rid of the woman's body.
On their way, however, they collided with a truck.
The deceased's boyfriend died in the crash.
His female friend also died, but her boyfriend survived and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for his injuries.
"Police are investigating cases of murder and culpable homicide," Mohlala said.
