The admission by the Presidency that its spokesperson, Khusela Diko, failed to disclose financial interests will not form part of the ANC's disciplinary hearing on Friday, the party said.

"Ours is about a conduct and her role in the conduct. We are not in the details of financial statements," ANC Gauteng secretary Jacob Khawe told News24.

On Sunday, the office of the president announced that acting director-general in the Presidency, Lusanda Mxenge, had initiated disciplinary proceedings against Diko.
