Apartheid-era chemical warfare specialist Dr Wouter Basson is far from being let off the hook for his past actions, during the apartheid years.

The Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA) has deployed its big guns in the form of president Dr Mbulaheni Simon Nemutandani, vice-president Dr Simpiwe Sobuwa, and its acting CEO and registrar Dr Munyadziwa Albert Kwinda, to lead proceedings against Basson.
