After Covid-19 travel restrictions forced them to cancel their dream South African wedding twice, Pieter Jordaan and his partner were looking forward to finally tying the knot on 21 December.

But they have been left in limbo once again, thanks to the latest bout of travel bans affecting South Africa, which were imposed after the discovery of the Omicron variant of the virus that causes Covid-19.
