The official approval of the changing of the name of Port Elizabeth to Gqeberha, and the airport to Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport, is the best news for Christian Martin.

Martin, along with other activists, is the man who spearheaded the successful campaign to change the names of Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage and the Port Elizabeth Airport.
