Lawyers for Parliament say EFF MP Nazier Paulsen's heated altercation with three DA MPs was an obstreperous, personal frolic of his own that wasted 16 minutes of the National Assembly's (NA) time.

During a NA sitting in March, Paulsen was embroiled in an altercation, during which he told then DA MP Phumzile van Damme to go back to Swaziland; he also told the DA's Natasha Mazzone to go back to Italy.
