About 2 786 disgruntled residents of Vanderbijlpark have shown the embattled Emfuleni Municipality the middle finger.

They are boycotting paying their expected monthly municipal bills.

Vanderbijlpark is the beacon of the municipality with various tourism destinations, including the Vaal River, steel factory, two universities, hotels and a casino.
