Convicted murderer Rosemary Ndlovu faces two charges of conspiracy to commit murder for allegedly organising a hit on her former boss and another police officer while she was behind bars.

Allegations are that Ndlovu paid an alleged hitman a few hundred rand to kill the two as she blamed them for her arrest. However, the plan was later uncovered and the case was opened in Tembisa in October 2018, months after she had been arrested for organising a hit on six people, including her sister and boyfriend, for insurance purposes.

Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed that Ndlovu was faced the two additional charges. He did not provide additional detail, saying the matter was still under investigation.
