Family of pupil who drowned on Equal Education outing still waiting for answers

The family of a teenage schoolgirl, who drowned during a trip organised by Equal Education (EE), said they still wanted to know how Avethandwa Nokhangela died on the group's watch.

The 15-year-old girl drowned at Kidd's Beach on 29 April last year, while participating in a leadership camp organised by the community activist organisation at Palm Springs Holiday Resort, near East London.
