A Johannesburg mother, who recently moved to KwaZulu-Natal and ran into car trouble in Margate, south of Durban, has heaped praise on a petrol attendant who lent her his car, so she could fetch her little ones from school.

Laine Herman, a former Gauteng resident, had just moved to the pristine South Coast when she encountered her first hurdle in Margate on Wednesday, 18 November.
