Cape Town - Former Western Cape police commissioner Arno Lamoer wants his corruption case dealt with so he can enjoy his retirement, he said on Friday.
“But this is going on and on forever. For me to enjoy my pension, I want this to be finalised,” he said outside the Western Cape High Court following a pre-trial hearing.
Lamoer, Brigadier Kolindren Govender, his wife Sharon, and Brigadier Darius van der Ross allegedly received cash and expensive gifts from businessman Mohamed Saleem Dawjee and his son Zameer, in exchange for special treatment.
