'G4S owes us answers': The mother of a Thabo Bester rape victim says his escape reignited nightmares

The mother of one of Facebook Rapist and killer Thabo Bester's victims says she stopped having nightmares after hearing he had died in a fire - only for her worst fears to be realised at the news of his escape.

"All I feel is utter disbelief. There's a part of me that still thinks this is impossible. He was in a maximum-security prison for heaven's sake!" the woman told News24. 

She has asked to remain anonymous to protect her daughter's identity.
