Hawks' analysis places Zandile Mafe inside Parliament at time of fire, court hears

Facial analysis placed Zandile Mafe inside Parliament when the National Assembly building and other sections burnt down in January, the Cape Town Magistrate's Court heard on Friday. 

Prosecutor Mervyn Menigo revealed this during Mafe's latest appearance on accusations of starting the fire on 2 January. 

During his unsuccessful bail application in February, the court ruled no CCTV footage or images of him should be shown in open court until it was verified that it was him in the footage.
