'Help, I am dying': Man who tried to save teens from Enyobeni tavern tragedy haunted by victims' screams

An East London man who rescued six youngsters from the Enyobeni tavern on the night 21 teens tragically died is haunted by the screams of the victims who were trapped inside.

Mzobanzi Godlo from Scenery Park recalled how kids as young as 14 screamed for help through the windows of the tavern, as they struggled to breathe.

"I can't sleep at night anymore. I still get flashbacks of the incident," he said.
