It would be 'premature' to ask corruption-accused comrades to step aside - Mabuza

As the ANC grapples with how it will deal with corruption-accused members occupying positions, Deputy President David Mabuza said it would be "premature" for him to say certain people must "step aside".

The ANC NEC in late August adopted the position – brought by President Cyril Ramaphosa and his supporters – that members accused of corruption and other crimes must leave their positions.

Mabuza answered questions in the National Assembly on Thursday.
