An urgent council meeting is expected to be held in the Kannaland Municipality in the Western Cape on Wednesday, with a motion of no confidence against mayor Jeffrey Donson and his deputy, Werner Meshoa, likely to be tabled.

Both Donson and Meshoa are convicted criminals.
