The instructing attorney for the review panel appointed by KwaSizabantu Mission, Andrew Arnott, has given his assurance that the inquiry will be independent and their personal views will not interfere with their work.

The mission announced on Friday that it had appointed a two-person panel to investigate allegations of physical and emotional abuse as well as financial crimes at the mission. Many of the claims were detailed in Exodus, a News24 exposé published earlier this month.
